The beauty
of living and working in central Europe is the opportunity
to change cultures quickly. From Plano, Texas or Auburn,
Alabama, both of which I consider home, you have to drive
a day and a half to Mexico or board a plane to get different
language, food and customs. From my place in Budapest you
can ride your bike a couple hours to Slovakia. By car, you
can be in any of several surrounding countries in a few
hours.
So, we take advantage of our location and drive 4,200 km
and change cultures several times in a week. As always,
we've planned everything down to the last detail. We also
know that nothing ever goes to plan. However, that is usually
the best experience. So, we're hoping for a little luck
in our misfortune as well.
