Radkin
Things I see, things you
see, things we all see.
Radkin (Richard Adkin) was born in Canada and has spent
the past 10 years photographing his travels in and around
Europe from the Arctic Circle to the most westerly point
of the continent in Portugal to southern Albania to the
Krimean Coast of Ukraine. Radkin is currently based in the
heart of Budapest, Hungary.
His journey will head east in the near future in search
of a series of personal artistic photography projects. This
journey will in fact take him around the world until he
returns home in the next 3 or 4 years.
The focus of these projects will be partly the human experience,
partly artistic impressionism.
In full, all will be completely emotional.
"I want people to celebrate other people, the moment,
the colour, the simplicity of a special emotion that presents
itself to life. I just put myself there, live it and - click.
I am addicted to this emotion, and I have those to thank,
strangers and friends alike, with whom I am lucky enough
to share it."
Radkin is excited about life, and can't seem to think of
why not to be.
See some of his work.
